Phytobaume Volume Express Conditioner Review

WHAT IS IT: Phytobaume Volume Express Conditioner Fine Hair
Phytobaume Volume Express Conditioner

THE PRODUCT(S):
Phytobaume Volume Express Conditioner
Phytobaume Volume Express Conditioner Fine Hair: Treat your hair to Phyto Phytobaume Volume Express Conditioner, specially developed for fine and limp hair. Your hair will be left feeling softer and looking voluminous with a gorgeous shine.

This high performance conditioner will help to restore your hairs density and volume whilst gently detangling your hair at the same time. Phyto Phytobaume Volume Express Conditioner is enriched with red seaweed, elder and gleditschia extract leaving your hair with added body and shine!

Despite the product looking so thick and creamy, I personally find that it spreads pretty well through wet hair while I was in the shower. And after rinsing it off my hair, it didn't leave the typical oily residue-like sensation on my back.

VERDICT: The scent isn't that amazing, to be honest. It's not that bad actually, but it's probably the typical type of scent that doesn't actually turns you off completely, but yet at the same time, you might find yourself reaching for another conditioner that smells slightly better. We females are rather fickle when it comes to beauty products, to say the least. If we were to compare 2 similar products, almost 50% of us would probably go for the one that smells great but doesn't work that well than to choose one that doesn't smell great but works really effectively. Especially towards products we might be choosing for the first time.

That said, I personally find that despite the conditioner looking really rich and creamy at first glance, it doesn't feel heavy as it should while applying it to my wet hair. My hair condition's really problematic, to be honest. I cannot afford to follow the instructions literally and apply to towel-dried hair since my scalp is oily to the point that any additional hair products will weigh it down while making it look like I haven't washed my hair in weeks. Imagine my hair looking all oily, greasy and grimy within a day of applying hair products to my own towel-dried hair. Yucks, I know..

Immediately after washing the conditioner out of my hair (Ahem, I leave conditioner on my hair for a good 3 - 4 minutes each time I use them), the first thing I realized is that, it doesn't leave any greasy sensation or feeling on my back. As my hair is a little past shoulder length, conditioner(s) can literally "spread" from my hair to my back, thus leaving an oily sensation on my back. But not this Phytobaume Volume Express Conditioner. And also because my hair is actually thick despite I myself knowing well that it's thinning, I found that this one sachet is actually enough use for my hair, especially with emphasize towards the ends of my hair, where it tangles up without warning.

And at the same time, I've recently colored my hair less than half a month ago, hence the hair color is rather new on my hair. I immediately noticed that my hair, especially with the new hair color looks so wonderfully glossy. And mind you, it's not the oily type of glossy. But rather, the healthy type of glossy that seems to suggest I have my hair treated professionally. I even managed to run my fingers through my hair without encountering a single tangle at all, and not forgetting the smooth texture of my hair. Although I have to admit my hair didn't look like it has gained much "volume" to it since I have naturally straight hair, I'm just glad it didn't look too limp like as if it lacks of energy LOL And not to mention, soft and touchable hair that begs to be touched ❤❤❤

VERDICT: ✓✓✓

WHAT I THINK: Off-the-shelf product that makes my hair looks like it's done professionally. Who doesn't love it??
