Danahan EcoPure Moisture Fore Emulsion [ Part 2 ] Review

WHAT IS IT: Danahan EcoPure Moisture Fore Emulsion

THE PRODUCT(S):

Danahan EcoPure Moisture Fore Emulsion: Contains Ecocert-certified pine water and organic ingredients that absorb easily, soothe, hydrate and regenerate the skin instantly. Reduce dark spots and discoloration, while providing nourishment to your skin and help reduce fine lines. Nourishes, strengthens and stimulates cell renewal, leaving skin smoother and more radiant.

This product is actually cream-based, which I personally felt might be a little rich for my oily skin. However, it doesn't make my pores feel clogged and it gets absorbed rather decently too.

VERDICT: The scent is actually typical of moisturizers, maybe so that consumers won't mixed up the product by accident if the packaging is in another language, I guess? But still, the scent doesn't linger on unnecessarily, despite hours after application. Although the emulsion itself is creamy-based, which I personally felt could be a little too rich for my oily skin. Serums and gel-based moisturizers tend to be more suitable for oily skin, as it gets absorbed easily.

The texture and consistency is cream-based as mentioned, however, it doesn't take too long for the product to be absorbed into my skin. And even hours after application, my face doesn't look like I just waded in a sea of sebum. Most times, just less than an hour, my face looks as if it's deprived of moisture of any kind, just by judging on how oily my skin is. But this emulsion doesn't do that, and yet at the same time, I don't really see any difference to my skin throughout the one week I was using it. Although I had to be thankful I didn't really get any acne or pimple breakouts during that one week either.

My only gripe is that the emulsion seemed somewhat stubborn and despite repeated shaking à la ketchup or chilli sauce in bottles, the emulsion somehow refused to budge an inch. I finally had to get my hands on the emulsion by stabbing a cotton swab inside it, after removing another interior cover that should squeeze or ooze out the emulsion in decent amount. Which kinda makes me think this emulsion would be best if it's contained in a pot instead for easy access.

And when it's time to wake up in the morning, despite my face looking only a little wee bit oily, I am still glad I didn't wake up to a face full of sebum glory. And at the same time, no visible skin allergy of any type nor any acne or pimple actually showed up too. So, I guess this emulsion works pretty well as a moisturizer of some sort. However, my skin doesn't feel moisturized nonetheless.

So, I figured this is the same as the EcoPure Moisture Fore Essential Toner where it is best used if the climate is slightly more humid, when our skin is in actual need of organic skin products that helps moisturized and keep acne and pimples at bay.

VERDICT: ✓✓

WHAT I THINK: Normally, my face tends to have breakouts after using products that claimed to have organic ingredients. But not this, however, I do wish this product could have performed even better than expected.

WHERE TO REDEEM SAMPLE: This skincare gift set (along with a Danahan EcoPure Moisture Fore Emulsion) was a lucky draw item from Somang Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/beautycreditsg. However, I got this via a goodie exchange with a friend instead of winning it though.

But fret not! Somang sometimes have lucky draw and contests, so I would still urge you to be a fan of Somang Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/beautycreditsg by giving them a Like to be informed of up-and-coming contests and giveaways.

Why not like my Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/PuNiaosProductReviews to be informed of latest samples I found, which is duly updated? Also includes updates to contests that I've sourced out for you to join. It will definitely save you the trouble of having to hunt them down :)
